I know it’s hard to believe, but someone thinks University System Regent (and undisputed Crystal Hills streetfighting champion) Don Leebern may be ethically questionable. Yes, I need to sit down myself.

For years, Leebern has drawn wave after wave of criticism for his eccentric, in-your-face and, yes, occasionally unethical behavior. But as I wrote in 2005 about this man whose deep pockets keep him in high company, “Even if your moral compass constantly points to magnetic louse, your shortfalls stand a better chance of getting overlooked so long as the large contribution checks clear.
