Be careful what you forward, folks, it just might come back to you in unexpected ways. Some of you reminded me of just that late last week when you dropped a line about a particular e-mail making the rounds.

I received an e-mail last week which originated from a University of Georgia employee (via his university e-mail address). Forwarded to who knows how many people, the e-mail showcases nine photos supposedly of Muslims marching in Great Britain under inflammatory banners. According to Snopes, a great site for urban legend research, the photos are real, if not a tad old. Most seem to date from a 2006 protest over the publication of newspaper cartoons depicting the Prophet Muhammad.

OK, so this particular hate group isn’t exactly into timely material.
