The bottom falls out for Paul Broun

U.S. Rep. Paul Broun is still up in the polls, but his margin of victory has shrunk to just 55 percent.

It looks like Broun is going to win in July and again in November, but I’m having a hard time swallowing a 55-point victory. Broun’s campaign released another internal poll today saying 68 percent of voters preferred him over Republican challenger Barry Fleming, who garnered just 13 percent. That’s a 3 percent drop for Broun and a two-point pickup for Fleming since the last internal poll Team Broun released a couple months ago.
