Just call him TWITter

Twitter, the latest Web-based "social networking utility," offers users the opportunity to update each other on their whereabouts and activities, as long as they do it in 140 typed characters or less.

Of course, that's only how mere mortals use it. Put a tool like Twitter in the hands of Erick Erickson -- editor of redstate.com (which bills itself as "the most widely read right of center blog on Capitol Hill and ... the most cited right of center blog in the media"), 69th most influential conservative in the United States (according to London's Daily Telegraph) and member of the Macon, Ga. city council -- and Twitter becomes a way to discredit the conservative movement with a handful of characters left over.

Did the GOP get it right? (I can’t believe I just wrote that)

For the life of me I can’t even begin to fathom the American electoral process. Leave it us to take something as simple as voting and turn it into the most complicated thing ever.

Take this never-ending primary season for example.

First of all, I don’t understand why we haven’t gotten rid of this months-long primary season, which just drains the candidates coffers and annoys the hell out Americans because we have been hearing the same crap from said candidates over and over and over again. Wouldn’t it be great, just one big primary in let’s say February for arguments sake and then it’s over. The conventions could be held in March and then the campaigning against the real opponent could commence.
