Now, I'm just saying, if I'm a UGA official, I've got to be thinking there might be an easier way to raze the KA house than going through the cumbersome and costly process of bidding the work out to professionals.

When George Maxwell busts out the preacher voice, you know you done wrong.
Kappa Alpha got the full Sunday-morning treatment at the voting meeting Tuesday night, when the Rev. Maxwell said the Old South fraternity “disturbed the entire community” when it tore down two century-old houses near its own new house on Hancock Avenue.
“They knew the wishes of the community and they went on to do what they wanted to do” anyway, said the Athens-Clarke commissioner, who represents that part of town.
