Welcome to OnlineAthens.com's blogs
Blogs.OnlineAthens.com provides a forum for Athens Banner-Herald staffers to go above and beyond the constraints of our print edition to discuss the issues of the day and to connect with the community. You might find anything from the inside scoop on a commission meeting to the contents of our editor's e-mail bag.
Anyone can read all the posts and comments without registering on the site. If you'd like to post a comment, you'll need to create an account (there's a link in the left-hand column). All you'll need to provide is a user name and a valid e-mail account so that you can receive your password. We won't use that e-mail address for anything else. We promise. If you're interested in becoming a blogger, drop us note.
In order to participate on this site, you must abide by our terms of service. Buried in there somewhere is a clause that we can delete anything for any reason, but we won't do that unless it's really necessary.
When you comment on a post, you're in charge of what you write, and when you press the "submit" button, it will be available for all to read. In the spirit of community, there will be a link that allows other community members to comment about what you've written. In return, we ask that you be responsible for your own words and actions, that you respect your fellow community members, and that you refrain from personal abuse.
Thanks, and enjoy.
